About Brittni

A proven leader ready to serve House District 55.

Brittni Packard is a mother, advocate, and community organizer running for Colorado House District 55. She has spent years working alongside justice-impacted youth and connecting with neighbors across the Grand Valley, giving her a firsthand understanding of how policy decisions shape real lives.

Brittni believes elected officials must answer to their communities, not big money or corporate influence. She values representation rooted in lived experience, accountability, and respect for the people most affected by government decisions. Her campaign centers on a simple principle: people before profit. Brittni is committed to showing up, listening, and fighting for Grand Junction in Denver.

Our Priorities

💼

Economy

Brittni is running to rebalance an economy that favors wealth and power over working people. She will fight to lower everyday costs, raise wages, and protect workers from corporate abuse. Brittni believes our economy should reward hard work, strengthen local communities, and give every family a fair shot at a stable and hopeful future.

🏥

Healthcare

Brittni is running to protect and expand access to high-quality care so people in Grand Junction can get the care they need when they need it. She believes healthcare is a right, not a privilege reserved for those who can afford it. Brittni supports patient-centered healthcare that keeps medical decisions between patients and doctors, not politicians. She is committed to standing up to systems that put profits over people because no one should ever have to choose between their health and their financial security.

🏡

Housing

Brittni believes everyone deserves a real chance to afford a home in the community they love. She is running to support affordable housing for working families, young people hoping to buy their first home, and seniors who want to stay rooted in their community. She understands that a stable future should include the possibility of homeownership, so the next generation is not pushed out of the place that they call home.

🏫

Childcare

Brittni supports expanding Colorado's Universal Pre-K to include daycare so parents can go to work knowing their children are safe, supported, and cared for throughout the day. She believes every family deserves dependable childcare they can trust. Brittni knows access to childcare helps families, especially single mothers, build stability and stay in the workforce.
